True Pay-as-you-use billing through metered software
Information systems can do two useful things:
- Store data
- Deliver information
So we only charge you when we're useful:
- Megabyte-hours of data stored
- Megabytes of information delivered
Our systems have a built-in meter that tracks which pages and what data are accessed, added or changed each time a user logs in. This is used to provide you with a monthly statement of the Megabyte-hours of data that have been stored, and the Megabytes of information that have been delivered. Each of these figures is simply multiplied by their respective charge rate to give your monthly bill total.
Your statement can be checked online to identify the type of user (e.g. Manager, Team member, Customer), the Department (e.g. Management, Sales, Branch), the Project or work item, even down to the named individual behind each charge. By comparing these direct information costs with the productive outputs achieved in the same period, your organisation will be uniquely placed to measure its effective use of business information and thereby take full control of its Information costs.

Recognising that we all need to budget, charges are levied on a monthly budget plan. We agree a standard monthly payment level when setting up your system (typically averaging less than £20 per user). This is credited to your account, from which your monthly charges are deducted.
